LG V30 will come with LG UX 6.0+ Floating Action Bar, Face and always-listening voice unlocking

 

LG G6 introduces 18:9 display but it also introduces the new UI of LG which LG UX 6.0. Now the company is planning to launch its LG UX 6.0+ with the launch of its upcoming flagship LG V30. There are also rumors that LG V30 will introduce immersive 18:9 OLED FullVision display including new personalization options for a more intuitive user experience.

  • LG has partnered with photography site Graphy, which is introduced in the Camera app which can be accessed by manual mode of the camera. It will add camera presets to the LG V30’s camera app. Graphy will allow V30 owners to download and share presets of ISO, white balance, shutter speed, etc. to capture professional looking shots. It also promises quick and easy GIF creation and new movie creation tricks.
  •   LG will be ditching the secondary display and announcing the floating bar. The Floating Bar, which is semi-transparent, essentially allows quick access to frequently used functions and can be dragged completely off when not needed.
  • Always on display is also coming to the LG V30 since it will have an OLED display. It will not on show the clock but used to set the display Quick Tools, Music Player or a personal photograph as well.
  • LG is implementing facial recognition features using the V30’s front camera. LG is claiming that the V30 can be unlocked instantaneously using the front facing camera even when the phone’s display is off.  But it needs to be tested because face unlocks feature is present in Android since the days of Ice Cream Sandwich also iPhone 8 also faces unlock feature using some sort of face scanning method.
  • LG is also implementing Voice Recognition feature in V30  which is supported by Qualcomm Aqstic voice UI technology. This gives the V30 always-on, always-listening capabilities and requires a very little battery. It uses a combination of the user’s voice and self-generated keywords to unlock the phone.
  • LG V30 will have different levels of vibrations for each task which can be customized so the haptic feed back for each task is customizable.

LG V30 is soon going to be released in Berlin on August 31st with the OLED FullVision display (aspect ratio of 18:9) and the camera with an aperture of f/1.6. Stay tuned with us for latest info and launch information of V30 and other smartphones.
