After LG G6, it’s time for LG G6+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage

LG after launching its flagship G6 quite a while back. Now, LG has launched another upgrade version for this line-up as LG G6 Plus or G6+. The device was rumoured to come with Snapdragon 835 SoC but LG didn’t come up with that.

The upgraded LG G6+ is all the same except on the storage, which is going to have a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Other than this, LG is also packing some other stuff like a Hi-Fi DAC, another feature that was only available in select markets in Asia.

The phone will be bundled with a pair of B&O Play headphones. There are some software features adding too which are, The first one is that a Face Print appears to be LG’s take on facial recognition, which happens to be one of the authentication methods from the Galaxy S8. The unlocking is supposed to take less than one second.

The other one is the Low Power Consumption is an always-on mode that leverages hardware and software from Qualcomm and Google to collect data from sensors and networks without consuming a lot of power. and Finally, Covered Lens will warn users when their fingers are detected in the phone’s wide-angle camera field of view.

LG G6+ is now available in two new colours which are Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold. The software features will be made available from next month and the device is said to be $100 more than the original variant.
