Lenovo launched K3 Note four months back around July 2015. During this 4 months, Lenovo managed to sell over 1 million K3 Note smartphones in India. The sub-10k category is the most competitive but still Lenovo K3 Note came on top over other devices. Currently, this device competes with Coolpad Note 3, Yu Yureka Plus, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser and Huawei honor 4X.
The reason behind the success of K3 Note is the marketing they have done. Another reason is the features, it was the first full HD device under 10k. The company targeted this device for Indian youth which was sold like hot cakes. In Q3 2015, K3 Note is the top selling smartphone in India. There was no Xiaomi device was launched to compete gainst K3 Note, this was the advantage for its success.
According to the CounterPoint Research, Lenovo K3 was the best-selling smartphone during Q3, 2015. The report says Lenovo jumped to the 4th spot in India due to huge sales of K3 Note.
