Looks like LeEco’s biggest launch lineup of USA has been spoiled. They accidentally showed up their launch lineup on LeEco’s website. The company appears to be prepping the storefront for the launch, but in the process revealed basically everything, including some prices, that it intends to announce on the 19th. Here’s a list of those products.
- Le Max2 smartphone ($349, plus $60 discount through Dec. 2016, for a total price of $289)
- Le S3 smartphone ($299, plus $60 or $120 discount through Dec. 2016, total price listed at $169, but maybe $239?)
- LeEco Super4 X43 Pro TV (price shows $14.99, obviously a placeholder)
- LeEco Super4 X55 TV ($799, may be a placeholder)
- LeEco Super4 X65 TV (listed $14.99, placeholder)
- LeEco uMax85 TV (listed $799, placeholder)
The Le Max 2 was announced back in April previously this year. It featured amazing features like a 5.7″ Quad HD display, 21 MP camera, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3,100mAh battery, Android 6.0, fingerprint scanner, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It’s not clear if $349 is the starting price ($289 after discount) for the 4GB/32GB model. Internationally, the Le Max2 is available all the way up to a 6GB model with 128GB of storage.
Another device, the Le S3 which completely looks like a renamed Le 2 in terms of its specs sheet. The notable thing here is neither the Le Max2 or S3 offer headphone jacks, but the international Le Max2 and Le2 both included USB to 3.5mm adapters in the box. The features of the Le S3 are completely same to same as the Le 2, there’s no change in that. We likely won’t really know until the event on the 19th that what LeEco is up to.
LeEco’s site also shows a range of televisions, but most of the prices are clearly placeholders. Interestingly, it does appear LeEco plans to sell LeEco-branded televisions in the US, then, despite just having purchased Vizio. That seems utterly bizarre. All of the TV models are with the 4K resolution, and did I mention they all run Android TV now? LeEco is switching to Android TV, at least for its US products.
We can’t say anything much about the LeEco’s lineup of their products. But, we are still excited to see what LeEco has to offer on their upcoming event on October 19th which will be held in the USA.
