According to its official site Android 4.4.2 kitkat will be updated through FOTA . The information was first appeared on Times of India Newspaper add revealing guaranteed Kitkat update for Canvas 2 colors. Micromax is giving a hint for kitkat update for Canvas phones which might be arriving soon.
Few days back Xolo revealed Kitkat update for its selected Xolo Q series smartphones. But most of the users felt unhappy as their phone was not in the list. So Micromax has done the same making most of the users unhappy. Micromax Canvas Knight users will be delighted on hearing this new and so as the Micromax Canvas 2 Colors Users.

If you consider only camera then Canvas knight is best. The camera is even better than Elife E7

There is no official information till now. The bugs and heating issues will be solved with kitkat update

I am seriously considering buying this phone. But am a little doubtful because of the reviews that i have read . do you have any idea if the company has fixed the overheating issue and made software updates for other small issues like getting the longest time from the limited battery and the camera automatically softening the images and other small bugs. I am asking since the phone was out of stock and for the last month or so but now i hear that its going to start retailing pretty soon. so i presume that micromax is releasing new stock after fixing these bugs. thanks for your honest opinion.
They have solved the heating issue. Now Micromax released canvas knight with Gorilla Glass 3
thanks naveen. micromax site is still showing gorilla glass only and not updated to Gorilla glass 3 although they have updated their processor specifications from 2Ghz to 1.7Ghz. when is the new model with the new processor and gorilla glass 3 expected to hit the market ??

I think you got it wrong as far as gorilla glass 3 is concerned. there is nothing on the micromax websites or on the internet which mentions about GG 3 . Just gorilla glass is mentioned on the MMX website. So I beleive its not the latest GG3. Can you please share the source of your info ? Thanks
