itel Mobile enters the Indian smartphone market with their newly launched it1520 smartphone. The phone completely focuses on the front camera and brings one of the greatest features from the Samsung galaxy Note 7 to this device, the Iris scanner. But looking at the images, it doesn’t look like it has any Iris scanner. But, the camera is the iris scanner itself for this phone. The front camera scans the patterns in the eye, offering a password-free unlocking solution. This is used in ZTE phones.
The itel1520 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD On-cell display. Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with Mali T720 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 16 GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 64 GB. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It comes with a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 13 MP front-facing camera with LED flash and as discussed above, it can also be used as an eye-scanner to unlock your smartphones. For connectivity, it comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It’s juiced up with a 2,500 mAh battery, although.
