To increase your RAM, just install Swapit expander android app. This app creates swapper file in the external memory which behaves as RAM. It will not show the amount of RAM increased on your phone, just it creates swapper file which helps you do multitasking.
Swapit expander app needs root access that means your android phone must be rooted. If your phone is already rooted then you can install this app.
SwapIt expander can be downloaded from Play store. If you can’t afford to buy it just type swapit expander apk in google search and download it from there.
Follow these steps to increase RAM in Micromax Phones
- After installing this app, it will ask ‘Allow or Deny’, click allow.
- By default the app has 512 MB of swap size and 90 MB of swappiness
- According to your convinience you can create swap file.
- For examlple for 2 GB memory card you swap upto 512 MB and keep swappiness 90 MB.
- Similarly for 4 GB you can swap upto 750 MB and swappiness upto 100 MB. For 8 GB and 16 GB you create swap file same as 4 GB.
- After that click Swap active and it will take few minutes to create swapper file
- Last step, just click auto to acess this app whenever you want
This method can be followed for other brands too Samsung, Karbonn, celkon etc. After completing this process you will observe smooth performance of your phone and enjoy multitasking
