Huawei P20 Pro with 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED FullView Display, Triple Cameras and Android 8.1 announced

Huawei has announced their newest flagship’s Huawei P20 and P20 Pro at an event in Paris. The Huawei P20 Pro has already grabbed a lot of attention for it’s Rear Triple Cameras with Leica sensors. Both smartphones look the same but the only difference is in the rear cameras. It also has the Ultra Snapshot mode lets you capture an image in as little as 0.3 seconds by just double-clicking the down volume button, even from an off screen. The sound has taken to another level with USB Type-C Audio, HiFi audio with HWA, Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.

The Huawei P20 Pro sports a 6.1-inch ( 2240 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ OLED 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor + i7 co-processor, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, NPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It supports dual sims and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1. The other features are USB Type-C Audio, HiFi audio with HWA, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos.

The cameras are of a Triple 40+20+8 MP Leica Sensors where the cameras are RGB, Monochrome, and Telephoto lenses. The respected apertures of these cameras are f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 with dual-tone LED flash, laser focus, deep focus, PDAF, and 960fps super slo-mo video recording. It has a 24MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Other connectivity features are Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back and the battery capacity is of 4000mAh battery with fast charging.

The Huawei P20 Pro is available in a bunch of different colors such as Black, Twilight, Pink Gold and Midnight Blue colors. The pricing mentioned by the company at the event is 899 Euros (Rs. 72,350 approx.). The smartphone will be available in the markets for sale from April 6th.
