Huawei is finally set to unveil their new flagship smartphone in the Mate series and the successor of last year’s Mate 8 in Munich, Germany on November 3rd. As per the last renders, it’ll come with the same dual camera Leica SUMMARIT lenses which founded on the Huawei P9. Some other features include independent depth measurement chip, proprietary hybrid-focus technology, full manual control and RAW support, similar to their P9 and P9 Plus smartphones.
The Mate 9 will have a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 2.5D glass protection. It’ll be powered by their own octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor. It’ll be running on Android 7.0 Nougat (finally) with their own Emotion UI on top of it and will support hybrid dual SIMs (nano SIM + nano SIM / microSD).
It’ll come in 3 variants, the 3 GB RAM variant with 64 GB of internal storage, the 4 GB RAM variant with 128 GB of internal memory and the 6 GB RAM variant with 256 GB of onboard memory. The Mate 9 will feature a 20 MP Dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses and an 8 MP front-facing camera (nothing special about it).
Huawei Mate 9 is expected to come in Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey, Ceramic White, Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold, Amber Grey and Glazing Black colors. According to latest rumors, Mate 9 with 3 GB RAM with 64 GB variant could be priced at 599 Euros (Rs. 44,830 approx.), 4 GB RAM with 128 GB variant could cost 699 Euros (Rs. 52,260 approx.) and the high-end 4 GB RAM with 256 GB storage version is expected to be priced at 789 Euros (Rs. 58,950 approx.). China will get 6 GB RAM with 256 GB variant that could cost 4699 yuan (Rs. 46,980 approx.), cheaper 4 GB RAM with 128 GB version.
