Huawei Mate 10 Pro excels in DXO Mark gets a rating of 97

Huawei’s recently launched Mate 10 Pro at an event in Munich, Germany. The smartphone was praised by the well known DxO Mark Image Labs. They said that Mate 10 Pro has done a better job than iPhone 8 Plus in still image performance. The DxO has liked the camera of Mate 10 Pro that they rated it an outstanding 97, which is the second place in the list now as Pixel 2 has got 98.

The DxO Mark has released their official review about the Mate 10 Pro’s camera. In the review, DxO gives every aspect of the camera an individual rating and gave a whopping 100 for its still photo performance. The video performance has got a rating of 91 overall.

 

Coming to the other ratings, it got an 86 for color accuracy and reproduction, 96 for auto-focus, 67 for texture, 84 for flash, 40 for zoom, and 50 for bokeh effect when taking pictures. The DxO mark has also appreciated its camera as, “good target exposure and wide dynamic range”.

Comparing with other smartphone cameras like iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 got an overall rating of 94 and Pixel 2 XL got the highest rating with 98. This is the second consecutive year where a Pixel smartphone has topped the list. Anyways, many people don’t just blindly get smartphones by these ratings but there is some particular audience who take it into consideration.
