HTC one 10 released : everything you need to know

HTC a company which is known for its top of the line design in any smartphone, which created phones of the likes of the one m7 and one m8 which are arguably some of the best-designed phones till date, has been struggling to keep its relevance in smartphone industry due to mistakes made by the company in some departments such as camera, battery life and quite honestly, the company didn’t offer  much to lust over from their devices, while the design has been the selling point of the HTC one series but that didn’t not work recently due to rapid innovation by the companies such as Samsung and Huawei, which are also crafting some of the coolest and gorgeous devices such as the s6 edge and the nexus 6p, left HTC with a failed device which was the one m9.

This time, the company seeks to have a huge comeback with the launch of the One 10 which will be the sole decider of the future of the company whether as to the company will survive or not.htc-10-product-london

The one 10 looks quite familiar to those who have used the m7 or the m8 since the company has a opted to build upon their iconic metal unibody design while taking cues from their one a9, the curved design with huge chamfered edge of the back certainly looks cool but also adds to the ergonomics of the device while holding the cool metal of the device, but the aspect where the one 10 differs from their past devices is the is omission  of  the beloved stereo boom sound speakers but the company has implemented a new design where the main speaker is present on top front of the device while a subwoofer is added in on the bottom of the device which is said to enhance the listening experience from device not only that the device offers high-quality sound through the headphone jack thanks to built-in headphone amp that is promised to deliver twice the power of a normal headphone amp with ability of upscaling the audio from 16 bit to 24 bit which is a good thing for the music lovers, coming to the new features in one one 10 the company has finally included a fingerprint sensor which looks quite similar to the ones found on Samsung’s devices, also following the trend the one 10 now includes a  2560×1440 quad HD display which is a welcome change, adding to HTC says that the screen is 30% more colourful and 50% more responsive to the touch.

Let’s talk camera this has been the one the biggest flaw of the one series in the past the cameras were somewhat lacklustre even though the company experimented with their ultra pixel technology which was though great in theory did not seem to impress the consumers, this time, the company has once again counted on its ultra pixel technology and includes 12 MP ultra pixel 2 camera , complete with laser autofocus, a1.55um pixel size, optical image stabilization and f/18 aperture all combined the camera seems promising  while on the front the HTC 10 5MP front-facing camera as well, with a pixel size of 1.34µm, OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. The front camera comes with a wide-angle lens and screen flash, which is a good thing for stepping up your selfie game (if you are into such things).
