Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced a mid-range smartphone as V9 Play. It’s their latest budget smartphone and comes with a MediaTek chipset. The device has a unibody metal design and comes with 2.5D curved glass display. The V9 Play runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top.
The Honor V9 Play sports a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a 65% NTSC Color Gamut. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU. It has 4GB or 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 128GB with a microSD card. On the rear, it has a 13MP sensor with LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. And, on the front, it has an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. It boasts a 3000mAh battery.
The Honor V9 Play will arrive in Gold, Rose Gold, Red, Blue and Black colors and is priced at 999 yuan which is approx. Rs. 9830 for 3GB RAM and 1199 yuan for the 4GB RAM variant. The device will be available from September 12th in China.
