Honor Play Budget India’s First Gaming Smartphone Launched at Rs 19,999

Honor has launched their first ever Gaming smartphone in India and that too at an affordable price of Rs. 19,999. The smartphone is targeted towards those users who are interested in a flagship level budget smartphone.

The Honor Play is a complete flagship device as it sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ display that comes with a notch. The smartphone is powered by the Huawei’s in-house flagship performer Kirin 970 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage which expandable by up to 256GB with a microSD card.

In terms, camera, the Honor Play sports dual-rear cameras which consist of a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is also a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. According to Honor, the device is capable of  AI recognition to suit the available lighting and produce the best image. It also packs many AI-driven features such as portrait lighting similar to the iPhone X.

The Honor Play hoses a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone is energized by a 3,750mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin on top.

The Honor Play will be available in an open sale on AMzin which has already started form 6th August. The base 4GB+64GB variant starts at a price of  Rs 19,999 whereas the 6GB + 64GB variant will cost Rs. 23,999.
