Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently announced a new edition to their series of smartphones and it is known as Honor 8 Pro. Honor 8 Pro is the successor to the Honor 8 which is launching in India on July 6th exclusively on Amazon India.
The Honor 8 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with a DPI of 515 PPI. Under the hood, it has an Octa-Core Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4 GHz along with Mali G71 Octa-Core GPU. It has an onboard 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128 GB.
It will be running on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.1 on top of it. The Honor 8 Pro comes with 12 MP (Monochrome) + 12 MP (RGB) dual rear cameras and 8 MP front-facing camera as well. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The Honor 8 Pro will be juiced up with a 4,000 mAh battery on the typical model and 3,900 mAh on the lower variant.
The Honor 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 38,000 approximately in the UK and Europe. Available in three colors – Navy Blue, Midnight Black, and Platinum Gold colors. Along with that, the Honor 8 Pro will also be bundled with a VR cardboard glasses in the box as well.
