Google responded to the Pixel 2 XL’s touchscreen issues

Google’s Pixel 2 XL was launched in the midst of this year. After the launching, the users were experiencing some issues which are blue tint on the display while tilting the device and now a new issue was discovered, where the touch doesn’t work on the edges of the display.

The issues overcoming on Pixel 2 XL are going higher day by day with more complaints from the device users. A Pixel 2 XL user has reportedly posted a video on the forum, showing an issue where the touchscreen responsive issue while playing Call of Duty Heroes game. Another user has shown a video which shows the “Display tester app” doesn’t show up the response on the edges.

Although, Google is trying to fix these issues they are getting more day by day. Now, Google is trying to solve all the problems by rolling out an OTA update in the coming weeks, which will make it better. Orrin, Community Manager at Google, responding to the issue, said:

Hey All,

Thanks for all the reports here, and to those that sent up additional info. The team has been investigating, and this will be addressed in a future OTA update.
