Last year Google announced the death dates for the Nexus lineup, literally I mean the list of last updates for the Nexus lineup. And it looks like Google is back again for the Pixel lineup.
The dates were announced on Google’s help website recently announcing the Pixel and Nexus lineup’s end of updates. So, here are the details you need to know in the form of images.

To wrap things up, Nexus 6P will be getting its last Android update on September 2017 and it’s last security patch update on September 2018. Same goes with the Nexus 5X as well. Other than that, the Nexus 9 will receive its last security patch update in October 2017. Talking about the Pixel and the Pixel XL, both of them will not receive Android updates after October 2018 whereas they’ll continue to get security patch updates until October 2019.
So finally, these are the official death dates for the Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6 P, Nexus 5X, and the Nexus 9.
