Google Pixel 2’s Portrait mode can now be enabled on other phones through an app

Google’s Pixel 2 smartphones were exceptionally good for their camera performances and quality pictures. Without using Dual Camera setup on the smartphone, Pixel smartphones have cracked their way to take pictures in Portrait mode where the subject will be in focussed and the background will be blurred.

The feature was brought to light by the Senior XDA developer Charles Chow and somewhat found a way to click pictures in Portrait Mode on any device but not only Nexuses and Pixels.

The Method to get Portrait Mode pictures on any phone:

  • The first thing you have to do is to download Camera NX version 7.3.apk and install it on the device you wanted to use the feature.
  • Now, grant all of the permissions asked by the app and open it.
  • The app gets opened and navigate to the menu settings by tapping the three horizontal lines on the left side.
  • The Portrait Mode will be visible and just enable that mode in the camera.
  • That’s it, you are ready to click pictures in one tap and get portrait pictures.

By following the above steps, you can enjoy the flagship feature of taking pictures in Portrait Mode not only on premium phones but in the budget and mid-range smartphones of Android.
