The Google Nexus 6P: Is it still worth it? – Mini Review

The Nexus 6P was hands down the BEST phone of 2015, But 7 months later and 4 months into 2016, is it still worth it?So now let’s go over every feature of Google’s flagship and see how it has held up till now.

Performance

Performance has been absolutely great.
Really heavy games like N.O.V.A 3 and Asphalt 8 run perfectly, it does heat up really slightly thanks to that Snapdragon 810 inside. Even though it isn’t the latest chipset out there, due to the 820 releasing after the Nexus 6P. The entire system runs smoothly too, thanks to it having completely stock, pure Android.nexus-intro-phone-1

Battery

The Battery Easily still lasts, at least, a day with about 10% juice still remaining, and that’s without the battery saver mode, if you use that well, you can end up saving a little more percent.
Though the main star of the show here is Doze.
When a device is in doze mode, the system puts your apps in sort of a hibernation mode, so you can like go to bed at night with say 50% and wake up with 48%

Display

The Display has held up well too, being a Super AMOLED 2K display, you’ve got those dark inky blacks and colours that really standout.

Sound

The speakers have held up really well too! The dual front facing front speakers give an awesome experience.

Camera

Nexus devices are known to have bad cameras. But this changed with the Nexus 6P. It’s not as good as the new Huawei P9 or The Galaxy S7. Though for what it is, it’s extremely good.

Overall the Nexus 6P has held up very well. If you are an Android Enthusiast or Just a normal dude who loves Stock Android, Quick updates and Really Good Developer Support, The Nexus 6P is definitely the device for you.
