Gionee to continue its popular Marathon series with Marathon M5. Gionee announced this device way back on June in Beijing, China. The Marathon M4 is the upgraded version of Marathon M4 which was fairly successful. The smartphone features a 5.5 Inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display. The powerhouse device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Amigo UI 3.1 UI on top.
The Marathon M5 is loaded with 1.5 GHz Mediatek MT6735 64 Bit Quadcore processor. On the other hand, it is bundled with 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB Onboard storage ( external storage is available ). The phone is capable of recording 1080P with 13 MP lense which has LED flash support. On the front, it has 5 MP selfie with wide angle lens.
Let’s talk about its battery, it has one of the largest batteries available in the market. It is backed by a huge 6020 mAh capacity battery. It’s not exactly a single battery but it has 2 dual 3010 mAh batteries. Gionee Marathon M5 can charge other phones due its fast dual charge chips. The company is promising upto 62 hours of standby even if your phone is left with 5%.
