Don’t know what’s the strategy here for marketing but before the launch event we got to have a peak at the Essential PH-1 Smartphone. Well, the first smartphone from the company built by the co-founder of Android.
So what’s the Essential PH-1 Smartphone all about? What makes it different from others? You can probably see a Bezel-Less display just like we saw on the Xiaomi Mi Mix and the Samsung Galaxy S8. But anyways it looks familiar. Well, talking about the display, it’s a 5.71-inches QHD (2560 x 1312) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of it.. It is made out of ceramic and titanium and feels premium and durable at the same time.
Under the hood, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset underneath along with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage out of the box. At the back of the phone, we’re able to see dual camera setup using two 13 MP dual cameras, one of them being used for Monochrome images. Taking off the front-facing camera, it’s an 8 MP camera capable of doing almost the stuff as the rear camera. It supports all the major connectivity features including Bluetooth 5.0 and others. It comes with a 3,040 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge technology as well.
Well, it’s a thing to be excited after the Galaxy S8 and Mi Mix. We’re actually admitting the beauty of the smartphone more than we’re excited. Now it’s time for the launch event tomorrow at Recode’s Conference tomorrow. We hope the company will achieve success soon.
