Oneplus One Team officially announced release dates for Android Lollipop Update. The official forum also announced CM 12 and Oxygen OS with Android Lollipop 5.0. This is the great news if you are a Oneplus one user waiting for Lollipop update.
Android Lollipop for OnePlus One release dates
According to the forum, OnePlus One will get Oxygen OS with Lollipop on or before March 27th. CM 12 with Lollipop will be released on or before March 30th. The reason for the delay in update is they has some issues with OS signing which has been resolved now. Other bugs like Camera module had stability issues on Android L. They are also working on to improve its Wifi drivers.
Oneplus One Team offering five 64 GB Oneplus One handsets if they failed to release the update according to the promised dates. Only five Lucky winners will get the opportunity to get these handsets. This shows how confident they are on releasing these updates.
