Bluboo Acquires In-Display FIngerprint technology similar to Vivo

So we entered 2018 which seems to be revolutionary in the smartphone industry. Earlier we saw Vivo showcased the world’s In-Screen fingerprint scanner at CES 2018, now a Chinese brand Bluboo started adopting this technology.

As we know there are plenty of ways to unlock the smartphone using the Fingerprint scanner, pin codes, Face ID, and Iris scanner.  In-Screen Fingerprint technology is introduced to make full use of the display.  It helps to reduce the size of the bezels which makes the display look stunning.

In-Screen Fingerprint technology can be seen in upcoming Bluboo S2 and Bluboo S3.  Bluboo S2 is expected to feature a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor which designed for the rotated camera to make full use of the screen to body ratio.  To capture a selfie you have to rotate the camera which is a smart move by the company. In-Screen Fingerprint technology works only on OLED panel, So the Bluboo S2 will come 5.99-Inch OLED display. We are eager to review this unit from Bluboo.
