ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 launched in India at Rs 10999

ASUS has finally launched one of the best smartphones they have ever made that too at an unbelievable price in India. The smartphone is Zenfone Max Pro M1 which is the newest mid-range smartphone and it starts at Rs. 10,999.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio protected by 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC which we have already seen in Redmi Note 5 Pro. It comes in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants as of now in which storage is 32GB and 64GB respectively which can also be increased by microSD card and it has dedicated SD card slot. But there will also be a special 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which will launch after some time.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 packs dual rear camera setup which includes a 13MP primary sensor paired with a 5MP sensor which will only be used in portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper with LED flash for selfies. Interestingly the special 6GB RAM variant has a 16MP rear shooter accompanied by 5MP snapper and the front camera is also replaced by a 16MP sensor.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs on stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) and it is the first smartphone from Asus which runs on stock Android.  The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and also has face unlock. The device is backed up by a massive 5000mAh battery which can give you up to 25.hours of 1080p continuous video playback, up to 28 hours WiFi browsing time and up to 42 hours 3G talk time. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 10W charger which can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in 2 hours and 42 minutes.

Asus is also providing an accessory in the box which is a passive amplifier called Max Box that can amplify the sound two times. The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro (M1) will be available in Deepsea Black and Gray colors. The 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 10,999 whereas the 4GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 12,999 and the upcoming 6GB RAM variant will come at a price of  Rs. 14,999.
