A few weeks back, Asus has launched the Zenfone 3 Max in India. Today the company has announced the Zenfone 3 Max will be manufactured in India from December.
Asus continues to be the part of Make In India campaign with Zenfone 3 Max. This is the third smartphone from Asus which will be manufactured in the country. Earlier, Asus manufactured Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Go in India.
Commenting on the announcement, Peter Chang, Region Head – South Asia & Country Manager for ASUS India said, Besides our headquarters, Taiwan, India is amongst the most important markets for us and we are constantly looking to strengthen our presence and operations in the country. We are excited to announce another smartphone that will be manufactured locally, apart from Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Go. India is on its way to becoming a world leader in mobile phone manufacturing and we are proud to contribute to such a dynamic economy.
