Datawind entered into smartphone market after standing second in Tablet market. Datawind launched 3 new datawind smartphones at really low price. Specifications doesn’t look good on the paper. PocketSurfer 5x, PocketSurfer 5C+ and PockerSurfer 3G5 are the 3 new Datawind Smartphones.PocketSurfer 5X is the cheaper which is priced at 3,499 INR,PocketSurfer 5C+ costs 4,999 INR and costlier version PocketSurfer 3G5 at 6,499 INR.
PocketSurfer 5X runs on Linux operating system which is quite different from regular smartphones.PocketSurfer 5X flauts 5 inch TFT WVGA display. It is powered by Cortex A8 1 GHz( Core unknown) processor. The RAM,Battery and internal memory are not disclosed yet. The dual sim device sports only VGA front camera and skips rear camera.Other features include 2G, Wifi, Bluetooth and FM Radio.
PocketSurfer 5C+ runs on outdated 4.0 ICS Android Operating system. 5C+ flauts 5 inch TFT WVGA capacitve display and has dual sim functionality. It is powered by Cortex A9 1 GHz( core unkown ) processor. PockerSurfer 5X has VGA front Camera and 2 MP rear camera. For connectivity options there is 2G, Wifi, and Bluetooth.
PocketSurfer 3G5 is the costlier among 3 Datawind smartphones. It runs on Android 4.2 jellybean operating system. PocketSurfer 3G5 carries 5 inch TFT capacitive display powered 1.2 GHz Dual core processor. The dual sim smartphone flauts 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. It supports 3G, wifi, bluetooth and FM Radio.
